It has been 15 years since Darren and I went to an air show at the Richmond base and we still remember having a great time so wanted to take the boys there for the 85th anniversary. It was such an amazing day, the jets were so loud but the boys didn't seem to mind.
Riley and I lined up for almost 2 hours to get into the cock pit of one of the planes.
The airshow went for 4 hours and the boys were so well behaved but got a bit sick of covering their ears towards the end.
My favourite jet was the F111 and boy was it loud and fast
Poor Nate didn't even make it out of the car park before he was asleep, he slept most of the was home and then still went straight to sleep when we put him into bed. Riley was pleased with his plane badges that he got and Cooper was happy to spend time with the boys. It was a great family day out.
