We arrive safe and sound in London after an epic journey across the Pacific and the US. We had a quick change over from Qantas to Air America and got into London 30 minutes early. Kay managed to jump the very long immigration queue so we had lots of time to catch our next flight. We waited very patiently at the baggage carousel but our bags didn't show. No bags. Great. My camera charging cables are in my bag.
Fast forward 36 hours and our bags show up at Ann's house. We have £200 to do some clothes shopping, from our travel insurance. I am like a zombie as I am so tired after our 41 hour travel time and all of the shopping we had to doWe spent the day today at Durham cathedral, will update some more photos.
Tomorrow we will be flying out to Italy. Very excited.
